Attorney Danail Kalinchev is specializing in European Union Law, Human Rights Law, Bulgarian Civil and Аdministrative Law.
In 1997 I graduated the French language school “Antoine de Saint-Exupéry” in Plovdiv. After my high school education I went to France where I continued with my higher education at the University “Lumière Lyon 2”. In the very same educational institution I acquired Bachelor of First Professional Degree in Law.
I specialized in European Law in one of the most prestigious universities in France “Jean Moulin” Lyon 3 following my passion for studying Law of the European Union and human rights. In 2006 I acquired an educational degree Master in Law in the very same university.
In 2007 I returned to Bulgaria where I interned in the Ministry of Education and Science. My job was affiliated with preparing legal opinions about law bills and the correspondence of Bulgarian and European Union legislation.
Even though I was not yet a practicing attorney I actively took action in the lawsuit of my brother Petar Kalinchev regarding the excise duty of used vehicles imported from the countries of the European Union. The lawsuit defense was based on my research on that matter. The case ended with an order from the court in Luxemburg and passing a bill in the Bulgarian legislation of reimbursing the overpayment of excise duty of used vehicles.
By the end of 2007 I started working as a specialist in the department of “Internal Administration” in Societe General Expressbank headquarters in Varna and after 3 months I took the position of head of the department.
Due to my desire to practice European Law in 2010 I successfully received a certificate for qualification and passed the attorney exam. In the beginning of 2011 I established Lawyer Office Danail Kalinchev.
